SUMMARY:[Justice in Aging] Why We Talk About Care\, with Caring Across Generations
DESCRIPTION:[Justice in Aging] Why We Talk About Care\, with Caring Across Generations\nWednesday\, March 18 at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET. \n \nCaring for loved ones is a universal experience. But we don’t talk about it enough. Instead\, we care in isolation without the support we need from society. To build the system of support we need\, we need to talk about care more often. \nThis special care conversation will feature New York Times bestselling author and care advocate Emma Heming Willis; family caregiver and New Jersey Senator Andy Kim; and Caring Across Generations Executive Director Ai-jen Poo. \nHear directly from Emma and Ai-jen about their personal care stories and learn how talking about care can help change what’s possible. \nThis event also kicks off a nationwide initiative to hold one million care conversations\, as people across the country share their experiences\, challenges\, and dreams of care. We hope you’ll join and be part of the effort to find a solution for one of the most important issues of our time. Please share with your own networks. \nThe event is free and open to all\, with Spanish-language interpretation\, ASL interpretation\, and CART provided. \nRSVP here. \n  \n
